I’ve spent 5+ hrs trying various combinations. Waves Nx turns your headphones into a more reliable mixing and monitoring tool by letting you hear everything with real-world dimension, rather than flat in your head.
I’ve tried it using 3D auto, 8channel, steroe, a mix of bluetooth and usb. This plugin recreates the acoustics of a high-end studio inside your headphones, so you can make great mixing decisions anytime, anywhere.Powered by Waves. I have the same experience both on Windows and Mac. My headset is paired via bluetooth, I’ve selected refresh device list but nothing is ever listed. Is tracking possible over usb? The camera tracker feature works ok, but I cannot get the bluetooth tracker section of WavesHeadTracker to list any bluetooth devices. I’m testing out the demo of Waves Virtual Mix room, before I purchase it, but no luck connecting the headphone tracker to bluetooth. I’ve updated firmware (running latest 102).
I’m able to pair 2 channels of audio with BT or 8 channels using usb with a daw both mac and pc so the headphones are working as they should and connecting correctly. Those placed on your reflection points will help a ton and it’s pretty cheap and easy. I asked if HOA is supporte and got a response from the Audeze support: only 1st order - he said, they work on a firmware upgrade, to support higher orders. Make two of those, 4 total when you get the funds. They sell it also with Waves NX for Ambisonics monitoring. I’m unable to pair to enable the bluetooth tracker in NX headtracker. Get some 1’x4’ and make a sturdy 2x4 panel staple some breathable garden weed mesh to the back then fill them with Roxul/rock wool. I recently bought a pair of Audeze Mobius headphones specifically to use NX tracking for ambisonic mixing.
